SayRent
DIY Property Management software PLUS Loan and Investment Tracker and
Simulator has been specifically designed for private property owners
who would like to manage their own properties and tenants; to produce
statements, receipts, and YTD reports; and to track and simulate their
loans and investments. If you are running a service bureau for third
parties you need additional licences from us or our suppliers. Please contact

SayRent's intuitive screens have been designed to make it a pleasing experience
for you to use this powerful software. Click "Setup" at the
top of the main screen and enter your own details, to be printed on
statements and reports. If your local laws and regulations require certain
taxes, you can easily set them up in the same way, and then select at
individual transaction level. Click "User Guide" at the top of
the main screen if you need any help. Click "File" to open,
backup, save or rename your data files.
All functions are easily accessible via the main screen. If you need to enter
any past data, periodic transactions can be automatically
generated until the current date. If the payment amount or interest rate
changed a few times in the past, simply enter them in sequence, with the
corresponding effective date. (Please note: If statements were already created
for those dates, modifications will not be allowed. You need to delete the
statements and re-create with the new details). Every time you save the
periodic payment or rent or interest rate details on the tenant or the loan or
the investment screen with a past effective date, previously generated data
from that date will be deleted (provided that no statements exist for that
period) and the new data generated until the current date.
Click "Simulation Mode" on the main screen and
try with options such as "until the balance <= 0" or any other amount,
or "until 01/01/2012" or any other date (Date formats depend on your computer's
regional settings). The main screen on the box cover above is in simulation
mode, warning you in red that modifications made in this mode will be discarded
at the end of the session.
Select a tenant (or a loan or an investment or an owner account) and click its
transactions button to see the generated transactions, or to
manually add or modify a transaction. Click Statements; enter
the "To Date", and optionally a message, to create a statement. Tenant
statements include any overdue amount, next payment due, and any message you
might like to enter.
